Takko Lacquer Heart Shaped Box

Hi everyone! Today I have a super cool new Takko Lacquer that you may not have seen yet. Heart Shaped Box was released as a "mystery polish" during the last restock at the end of January. Sheryl was kind enough to include it in an awesome Valentine's Day gift package, along with Absinthe and a few goodies. And of course I swatched it for you guys to drool over!

Takko Lacquer Heart Shaped Box

Heart Shaped Box is a cool-toned metallic pink micro glitter with silver flakies and holo shimmer. It is definitely the girly cousin of Fullmetal. Also, holy reflective shine, Batman!! It has so many shiny things crammed into such a tiny bottle! My camera totally freaked out and almost couldn't handle it, lol! The formula was blissfully smooth and applied perfectly. I have had some polishes with the same finish that were just way too thick and almost impossible to swatch without adding thinner, but not this baby! This is two easy coats, and even though it doesn't look it, it dried smooth as glass. I did add a layer of topcoat as per usual.

I love how the silver flakies give the polish an almost textured look. But then again, it wouldn't be a Takkito if it weren't so interesting to look at!
