Hi friends! Happy Holidays to you all! Today is the Twinsie Tuesday group's special holiday post. This year, it is a general holiday inspired theme as opposed to something more specific. I prefer the open-ended themes because I have more wiggle room if an idea doesn't work out - like this one.
I legit tried three different designs and a total of five manis before one worked out. Ugh. And the one that did was much more simplistic than what I wanted, but I'm not gonna argue after four horrid attempts!
Used:
Essie - Mint Candy Apple
KBShimmer - Eyes White Open
China Glaze - Fairy Dust
Maybelline Color Show - Precious Pearl
Dotting tools
So this is basically what I wish for my Christmas morning. Living in central Texas, we get very little winter weather and when we do, it's usually icy sleet. Just once, I want a white Christmas. Bah humbug.
On a sadder note, this will be my last post with the Twinsies. I am leaving the group because I can no longer honor the commitments required. Blogging has lost some of it's sparkle and while I want to continue posting, I don't feel as motivated to post as frequently as I had before. Not to mention, I am writing a book and that takes up a LOT more time than you would think.
So I say farewell to my ladies and wish them the best of luck. And I hope you all will continue to read their blogs (and mine) and enjoy excellent nail art!

I love that you used a glitter topper as your snow! I know I'm still relatively new to the Twinsies, but it was great to meet you Bridget! :)
ReplyDeleteThese nails are so cute! I haven't gotten much snowy nails anymore where I live. I remember when I was younger, there was much more snow compared to recent years. Sad to see you leaving the group but I totally understand :)
ReplyDeleteThese are absolutely lovely! Good luck on everything else you have going on<3
ReplyDeleteThis is beyond gorgeous!
