Twinsie Tuesday: Anti-Valentine's Day

Hi friends! I am back to posting the Twinsie Tuesday themes! I felt like I had missed so much when the kiddo and I were sick. I know life happens, but I don't like skipping out so much because of it.
Today's theme is Anti-Valentine's Day. Although I am a big fan of supporting love in any form (not just your significant other), I kinda got into this week's theme! Lately I have seen gorgeous red/black gradients floating around Pinterest - this one in particular. Even though it was meant for a Halloween look, I think the idea translates really well for an Anti-Valentine's one.

Used:
Zoya Pixie Dust - Chyna
Zoya Pixie Dust - Dahlia
Makeup Sponge

Gah, I loooove how the Pixie Dust polishes work so well in gradients! Also, I loooove how Dahlia kind of looks like ash over Chyna. These are definitely the claws to rip out an ex-lovers heart with, lol! Just kidding....sort of... I would never encourage that kind of behavior...

So where do you stand on the whole Love Day notion? Do you celebrate love in all it's beautiful forms or do you use an arrow to stab at Cupid's heart with cynical pride, lol?!

As always, be sure to check out the rest of the Twinsies and see their take on Anti-Valentine's Day!

  1. Your gradient came out perfect! I'm so jealous lol. I never thought about doing a gradient with textures, but they obviously blend really well.
