Takko Lacquer Fall Collection Part 1

Hey everyone! Sorry for the lack of posting last week. I hope it was better than mine, lol! My poor pooch was sick at the beginning of the week, and then it was my turn. She had an upset tummy and decided her leash was good to eat, so we spent most of Monday at the vet and Tuesday making sure she passed it all okay. The rest of the week, I had a bad head cold, drank lost of tea, and used up a lot of tissue! I have a nasty cough that is sticking around, but am feeling loads better.

Today I have the first part of the new Takko Lacquer fall collection - which includes 4 colors in all. The first two were originally released as a Gloss48 special, but they will be re-released this Wednesday. So if you missed out, you have another chance to snag them, yay!

Takko Lacquer Jabberwocky & Physical Graffiti

Takko Lacquer Jabberwocky

Jabberwocky is a bright turquoise blue crelly with multi dimensional copper shimmer. The coppery shimmer is like that of Kiss The Sky, where it shifts from a pinky red to green and gold. Looooooove it. Jabberwocky dries to a semi matte finish, but once you put on a glossy top coat, the shimmer comes to life. The formula was a little thicker than most Takkitos due to the shifty pigment, but it leveled out nicely with no other issues. Despite the thickness, I ended up using three coats, and I feel it looks best at three. You get the maximum shimmery effect!

Takko Lacquer Physical Graffiti

Physical Graffiti is a neutral grey crelly with bright platinum micro flakies. You all know my deep love affair with grey polish, and the simplicity of this beauty is as good as grey polish can get. It was inspired by the urban landscape of New York city and I think it captures that essence perfectly. The formula was excellent and consistent with the brand. This is three coats, as it was a little sheer after two. Delicious, you guys.

I have swooned and pledged my undying love for Takko Lacquer before, and with each new collection, this indie brand solidifies more so into the spot of most awesome polish. And if you don't own any yet, this is the perfect chance to try for a bottle (or five!). The restocks are always chaotic, but don't let that stop you from trying! Sheryl is awesome and no polish is ever considered LE. So if you don't get one this time, you will have another opportunity next time!

I will have the other two new colors - perfect for fall, this Wednesday. And the restock/launch happens Wednesday as well! So set those alarms for October 29th at 8pm EST.
