Hi friends! How are you all doing, this fine Wednesday? I am happy to say that my cold is all but gone and I am feeling great! No stress, no illness for once and it is a welcome change. The last two months have been a roller coaster and my poor blog has really been neglected. But such is life. We all have highs and lows and sometimes our priorities shift. So I, once again, thank you all for your patience and encouraging words. It really does mean a lot to me! Okay, enough sap, lol!
Today is the second part of the new Takko Lacquer fall release. If you missed the first two - the Gloss48 duo - you can see them here.

Takko Lacquer Maneater & Alchemist
Takko Lacquer Maneater
Maneater is a magenta to green multi chrome with a linear holographic finish. It is probably one of the shiftiest holo multi chromes (and my favorite one) in the Takko line up! It flashes between a velvety purple/magenta to red, gold, bronze and a vivid emerald green. The holo effect only adds to the glorious beauty of this polish! The formula was great, spot on with it's counter parts. The is two smooth coats for full opacity.
Takko Lacquer Alchemist
Alchemist is a pale yellow gold foil with a linear holographic effect. Now I know there are a ton of gold holos on the market, but this blows them all away! I have yet to see one so unique as Alchemist. It looks as if I have dipped my finger nails into gold dust. The pale yellow gold base is so elegant and stunning. Ugh. Also, I couldn't help but to think of Maclamore's song "Gold" when I was swatching it, lol! The formula, again, was fantastic. Two coats for full opacity and perfect application.
As much as I love Jabberwocky and Physical Graffiti, I am blown away by Maneater and Alchemist. Not only are they amazing fall colors, but they just feel so rich and opulent.
The restock/launch happens tonight at 8pm EST. Along with the four new colors, Baby Cakes and Créature will be restocked. Good luck polish lovers!
