I didn't follow the strict definition of a Ruffian, but that's what is so awesome about art - it is open to interpretation! That is exactly what I did with my contribution.

Yes, I did use these two colors a while back in a stamped mani, but I can't help it! They are so so pretty together!
Anyway, I decided to do a dotted Ruffian, because I wanted to be cool and do something different. I actually think this way looks awesome and I am probably gonna do it again!
