Twinsie Tuesday: Inspired By A Song

Hey guys and gals! What a whirlwind the last several days have been! Last day of school, water day, first sleep over for my small person, movie day, but now we are officially on summer break and I am so excited to have no schedule for a while! I am even more excited to bust out my summery bright polish/make up! I live for the bright colors of summer.

But today's post is a Twinsie theme! We are doing nails "inspired by a song." Since I have literally had no time to actually sit down and paint my nails (I wore Essie Flowerista for about four days straight and if you know me, you know that is a long time), I pulled out the only polish in my collection named after a song - Takko Laquer Kiss The Sky!

Kiss The Sky (original version) was my very first Takkito and it is still one of my top three. That rich blurple (blue/purple) jelly and the oh so coveted shifty shimmer - also found in Opium and Jabberwocky - just do me in every time! Not to mention it is named after one of the most iconic songs by Jimi Hendrix!
