Hey y'all! It may be Monday, but I have a gorgeous post for you guys to make it a little less awful. Tonight, Takko Lacquer launches the best Valentine's Day collection I have ever seen. Not to mention, the Winter and Fall collections will be restocked as well! Best polish day ever you guys!

Takko Lacquer Winter 2015 Collection

Hey friends! Today, I have swatches of the Takko Lacquer Winter collection that is scheduled to be restocked on Monday the 25th along with a special 4 piece Valentine's Day collection (those swatches will be posted Monday morning).

In case you missed the Winter launch last time around, you will have another chance to grab five out of the six polishes originally released before the holidays. Ugly Christmas Sweater is sadly going into hibernation until the next holiday season. But that's okay, because the other five are gorgeous!

Takko Lacquer Fall 2015 Collection

Hey y'all! So I have a big swatch post for you guys today! Takko Lacquer is restocking the fall collection this week as well as a few new colors. When the fall collection released, my package was stuck at a USPS processioning facility and I wasn't able to get them swatched before hand.

Since they are being restocked, I figured now would be a great time to share them and we can all ogle over them together!

Friday Favorites: Orange

Hi friends! I am back today with another Favorites post. The fav color for this one is orange. I love a good orange polish, it is probably one of my favorite colors to wear in the summer time - especially if the orange is bright or sparkly! And that is exactly what kind of polish I picked out for my top four favorites!

Takko Lacquer Summer 2015 Collection Part 2

Hey guys and gals! Today I have the second part of the new Takko Lacquer summer collection! On Monday, I showed you all the neons and bright of the bunch, and now I have a nude, a pastel and a jelly, oh my!

I also have for review the new Takko Lacquer top coat! Since all takkitos are now infused with Vitamin E, they dry down to a satin finish, and need to be topped with a glossy top coat to bring out the beauty of the polish. Sugar High is a high shine scented top coat give all takkitos that glossy finish!

Takko Lacquer Summer 2015 Collection Part 1

Hey guys and gals! So if you have come to my blog looking for the new Takko Lacquer summer release, you are in for a treat! Today I have part 1 of 2 posts for the new summer colors to be released June 18th at 8pm EST.

The entire collection is flat out gorgeous, as always. It has a variety of different finished, neon, jelly, flakie, shimmer, holo and glitter, so there is something for everyone. And now all Takko Lacquer polishes are infused with Vitamin E (on top of being 5-free and vegan) to help promote strong, healthy nails. The only noticeable change is that the polishes are slightly thicker and dry to a satin finish. They all still apply fantastic and now have the added bonus of actually making your nails better from the inside too! How cool is that? I don't think I have ever heard or seen a polish that does that. 

One more thing before we get to the swatches. Along with the seven new polishes in the summer release, Takko Lacquer is introducing a new high shine scented top coat called Sugar High. I will post a full review along with the other three polishes on Wednesday but  I used the new top coat for all the swatches in both posts.

Twinsie Tuesday: Inspired By A Song

Hey guys and gals! What a whirlwind the last several days have been! Last day of school, water day, first sleep over for my small person, movie day, but now we are officially on summer break and I am so excited to have no schedule for a while! I am even more excited to bust out my summery bright polish/make up! I live for the bright colors of summer. 

But today's post is a Twinsie theme!  We are doing nails "inspired by a song." Since I have literally had no time to actually sit down and paint my nails (I wore Essie Flowerista for about four days straight and if you know me, you know that is a long time), I pulled out the only polish in my collection named after a song - Takko Laquer Kiss The Sky!

Hi everyone! I am finally back to posting with the Twinsies after a two-week mini hiatus. This week, the Twinsies are looking to Pintrest for our weekly inspiration. I don't know about you, but I loooooove Pintrest for just about everything - cooking, crochet/knitting project, make up and nail art. It's awesome. It took me no time to find an inspiration pic, this one from the awesome Marta of Chit Chat Nails.

Hi everyone! Today I have a super cool new Takko Lacquer that you may not have seen yet. Heart Shaped Box was released as a "mystery polish" during the last restock at the end of January. Hey y'all! Man what a whirl-wind week and weekend this has been! The kiddo was sick again, I finished an amazing book, spent a lovely day with my husband, played with some awesome nail polish, drank copious amounts of coffee, went bowling and tried to take a nap. I feel dizzy just thinking about all of that! I am very much a homebody, so it doesn't take a whole lot to overwhelm me, lol!

Today I have a (sort of) new Takkito to share. Absinthe was launched in December along with several other polishes, but it was mistakenly left out of my swatch package. And since Sheryl is super fantastic and so awesome, she sent it to me along with Heart Shaped Box and a few goodies for Valentine's Day. So now I get to do a proper review of this beauty for you guys!

Twinsie Tuesday: Match Your Nails To Your Purse

Hi friends! How was your weekend? Mine was actually kind of boring, but I got a new book - Red Rising - that totally made the weekend worth it. It is sooooo good! Okay, enough book talk. 

Since today is Tuesday, I have my portion of the Twinsie Tuesday theme post. This week we are matching our nails to our purses. I am not really a "purse" person. I carry one more out of necessity than fashion. In fact, it is a pretty boring purse. But my wallet is way cute and worthy of being the inspiration for some nail art!

Hey guys and gals! Happy Valentine's Day! I wanted to wish all of you a wonderful day filled with love - from anyone you hold dear, a partner, friend or family member. The world needs a little more love, so let's use today to spread some around! And since this is a nail blog, after all, I figured I could do that with a sweet and romantic NOTD for Valentine's!

Apparently, I have been subconsciously drawn to French manicures. The NOTD I did for new year's eve was a french, and so is today's!

2014 Top Ten and Year In Review

 Happy frickin' New Year!!! I am tired, grumpy and a wee bit hung over, but I couldn't start 2015 properly without doing my annual recap post! This is my third year to do it, and it is still one of my favorite things to post. I have been  working on it off and on through out December in order to have it done on time. It was a lot of fun going back through all the polish from this past year, and seeing what posts were the most read!

Hi friends! How are you all doing, this fine Wednesday? I am happy to say that my cold is all but gone and I am feeling great! No stress, no illness for once and it is a welcome change. The last two months have been a roller coaster and my poor blog has really been neglected. But such is life. We all have highs and lows and sometimes our priorities shift. Twinsie Tuesday: Halloween

Hey everyone! Well it's been a couple of weeks since I posted with the Twinsie Tuesday group. I am always so upset with myself when I miss a post, so hopefully that wont happen for a long time. This week we are posting Halloween themed looks and I am kinda glad for it, otherwise I may not have done one this year!

Takko Lacquer Fall Collection Part 1

Hey everyone! Sorry for the lack of posting last week. I hope it was better than mine, lol! My poor pooch was sick at the beginning of the week, and then it was my turn. She had an upset tummy and decided her leash was good to eat, so we spent most of Monday at the vet and Tuesday making sure she passed it all okay. The rest of the week, I had a bad head cold, drank lost of tea, and used up a lot of tissue! I have a nasty cough that is sticking around, but am feeling loads better.

Today I have the first part of the new Takko Lacquer fall collection - which includes 4 colors in all. The first two were originally released as a Gloss48 special, but they will be re-released this Wednesday. So if you missed out, you have another chance to snag them, yay!

Hello friends! How was your weekend? We had a really nice one, after a glorious cold front blew in Friday night, the weather was fantastic - and for Texas in September, a cold front is a big deal. Yesterday we took the girlie to play Putt Putt for the first time. It was a blast, and no body won! We forgot to take score after the third hole, oops!
