Hey everyone! I am back with another Twinsie Tuesday post. This week's theme is Ruffian! If you don't know what a Ruffian manicure is, you will after we get through with you!
I didn't follow the strict definition of a Ruffian, but that's what is so awesome about art - it is open to interpretation! That is exactly what I did with my contribution.

Snowy Nail Of The Day
Ohhai friends! Well we are back from East Texas, technically since Monday afternoon, and the mound of dirty clothes from the trip has dwindled down enough that I had time to do a little something with my nails!
The weather has turned cold and dreary, so I figured I would do something seasonally appropriate. And I had this gorgeous bottle of Love Angeline Love At Frost Sight sitting around waiting ever so patiently to be used.

Twinsie Tuesday: Classic
Hello friends! Another Tuesday has come around and this week, for the Twinsie Tuesday theme, is Classic! I immediately thought of a dotticure - a classic nail art look and keeping with the theme, I went with a classic color combination.

Polish Days: To Boldly Go
Hey y'all! It's time for another addition of Polish Days. This month's theme is "To Boldly Go" and anything that might entail. There are a lot of different ways to interpret this, but I immediately thought of constellations!
Used:
Revlon - Royal
China Glaze - Glistening Snow
O.P.I. - My Boyfriend Scales Walls
Dotting Tool
Just a quick clarification before I get into the details of the mani. Glistening Snow doesn't look like this straight out of the bottle. It is a full coverage holo glitter, but I mixed it with a clear polish I had to thin it down.
Anyway, I tried to recreate some more well known constellations, Cygnus the swan on my index finger, little dipper on my middle, cancer the crab (my birth month constellation) on my ring finger, and Orion's belt on my pinkie. Love, love, love how it turned out! It may be hard to take this one off.
Be sure to check out all the other participants! For more info and the sign up link, click here to go to the Polish Days main page.

31 Day Nail Art Challenge: Polka Dots
Hey guys! I know I left you all hangin' last week and I apologize! It was a pretty crappy week for me, and I, unintentionally, went radio silent. But I haven't given up on my 31 day posts. In fact, I have the next prompt today, polka dots!
Used:
O.P.I. - My Boyfriend Scales Walls
Sally Hansen Insta-Dri - Grape Race
Sally Hansen Insta-Dri - In Record Lime
Sally Hansen Insta-Dri - Blue-Ming Fast
Sally Hansen Insta-Dri - Butter-Fly Stroke
Dotting Tools
When I decided to start this challenge, I took to Pinterest for nail art ideas and inspiration. I am not really an abstract thinker and I can rarely pull an idea out of my head without some sort of starting point. The idea for this mani originated here. I love the look, especially for spring/summer. Fun, bright and colorful! It is definitely one of my favorites for the challenge.
The dots were a little tricky to keep even, but I have found my patience for doing more complicated designs is improving. Hopefully that trend continues!
Stripes is up next!
